What we collect
When you contact us by phone, email or the form on this website, we collect the details you provide: typically, your name, organisation, contact details and the content of your message. Our web host records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and sends usage data to Google; no personal details you enter are shared with it.

Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to provide and administer our professional services, to meet our legal and professional obligations, and to keep in touch about work you have asked us to do.

Client information
Information provided to us in the course of an audit, review or agreed-upon procedures engagement is held in confidence under our engagement terms and the professional obligations that apply to Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand members. It is used only for the engagement and for related quality, regulatory or legal purposes.

How it is stored and shared
Information is held in our Microsoft 365 environment and our specialist audit software, both hosted in Australia, and on this website’s hosting platform in New Zealand. Messages sent through the website form are emailed to us and held on our website host’s server as a backup for up to 90 days. We also use AI-assisted tools, hosted in the United States, to support drafting, analysis and quality review. All providers process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms, and none are permitted to use our clients’ information to train their systems. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with those providers, with professional or regulatory bodies where required, or where the law requires it.
